It looks like Crispian's custom just got its first public use this past week at the Garage in London. Will be curious to see if he brings it along a few weeks from now when he's here for the Jisan Rock Festival, I reckon the metal top might be a bit uncomfortable in the heat!

The Fuzz14 is being discontinued this year to make room for the "vintage battery knob"-equipped Mk.II, one version of which will be made available exclusively via KS' website as the Strangefuzz, along with the Wah Royale. The first prototype of the Strangefuzz had the Strangefolk album cover of the witch and smoke, but the final with the Narcis guitar face is what Mr. Mills preferred, and I'm glad he did...it really does look stunning in person. Here is are some shots from the shop as a teaser, as we're gonna wait until Crispian and the gang release the hi-res pics in due time for the world to see. Mr. Ji has to do a double-masking job to etch with two colors, it takes forever to pull off but looks fairly snazzy.

In other J-Classic news, Darryl Jones plays one sometimes, and recently wanted to convert another into a synth of sorts with Graph Teck saddles, so we're sending him an Inca Silver one with a black headstock(his request) tomorrow for him to customize. He kind of wanted a metal guard like mine, so Mr. Ji asked him to suggest some artwork for inspiration, and Darryl wrote back that he's thinking about it(cool). I'm really curious as to what he'll want, and a custom aluminium guard on Inca Silver is going to be an interesting mix!
