Anyone know if Jag-Stang 24" neck will fit and intonate on a 59' to 64' Duo-Sonic body?
Some excerpts from Jag-Stang.com makes me think it will:
"Kurt Cobain came up with the Jag-Stang idea. He liked the Fender Mustang but there were things about the Jaguar the he liked also. His idea combined the styles of both guitars"
"It also had a Mustang-style short-scale neck that was a copy of Kurt’s favorite neck.(he sent his favorite neck to Fender to be copied)"
Scale Length: 24" (609.6 mm)
Neck Width at Nut: 1.5625" (39.68 mm)
Fret board: Rosewood (7.25" Radius/184mm)
Will a Jag-Stang neck fit a 1960 Duo-Sonic?

If it's a 24" scale Fender guitar it probably will. If it's a shorter scale duo it probably also might, but won't intonate.
Most fender bolt-on necks are interchangeable with the notable exception of the tele body only taking tele necks. As long as the scale lengths match up it should basically work, there may be height (as relates to the string action) or width (as relates to the neck pocket fit) discrepancies but you can bolt them together without much trouble usually, especially if they're genuine Fender or Squier, even AllParts and Warmoth who are licensed use the same basic heel shape and bolt pattern on their necks/bodies.
I don't know anything about the extra-short duos/mms/stangs, never even seen one in person.
