I like it, but I dunno if I really like it more than any other colour. It's different at least yes, but I'd need to see in person.

Seems like a decent deal though.

White looks terrible with the black hardware.

The vintage sunburst they come with looks pretty good as well, imo. I'd def rock a black guard to break up the huge white body, though. I'm curious as to how these play, they seem to have good reviews and for the price that doesn't seem to be a bad guitar at all.

I think it looks really, really cheap. Maybe it's just white hollowbodies I don't like.

Lack of inlays, while usually appealing to me... looks awful here.

well fuck all y'all too. a dot studio may be $300 new, but they haven't made them in the color series for several years.

that one does look a tad cheap. not sure why, but mine's my second favorite guitar, and some of the best money i've spent.

I agree, but lets face it: they are cheap. I equate these with the LP Special II-type introductory Epis, but being a semi of course they're going to charge a bit more... binding, laminating sides and top, etc...
But yeah, the black hardware and simplified control scheme never did it for me on these.

I do like the white though... if you wanna talk cheap looking check out dot studios NOW, it's that worn satiny translucent streaky crap... like the linoleum wood pattern on my schooldesk circa 1992, no thanks! Maybe if I scrawl "paul is tubular at sex and no mistake" in graphite across it...

...set neck. but yeah, the simple controls are kinda meh. however they can be made to look a bit better with a little effort.

I used to really want on these when they first came out. That black one ^^^ looks amazing.

I think the white one just looks unfinished :? It looks like they still need to add inlays on the neck, and binding round the F holes and I think I prefer it with pickup covers as well.

You can only really get away with the black models. I bought a Dot Studio with the intent of modding it loads. Fuck that shit. Do not want to wire.

I think that more than anything it's the colour. White always looks plasticy to me. More so than other colours.
