go to ikea and buy a 3$ shelf, get some velcro, buy a keyboard bag and that's it.
I you want a hardcase the stagg pedalboards are really cheap...
If you really want to build one, this post probably doesn't help much, sorry

well, then you need a draft, not a schematic.

how big are we talking? slots in the base for cables? slanted? integrated power supply? built-in pocket pussy?

WTF ARE YOU AFTER GAYB

the pocket pussy is a must, but otherwise i'm not totally sure what i want, so any "drafts" would be helpful

First of all gabe, it's way too early to have a santa hat in your avatar, second; I had this idea a few months back and once I started to look seriously into it realised that it would be a huge hassle and not much cheaper, if at all, than just buying one.

all the material and tools are free from my friend.

it's mostly about craft than practicality. i wanna learn how to make one, and i want to paint art all over it for no reason.

I can appreciate the DIY aspect.......but seriously you have to know what u want before u even can have a draft made up.....

Layout the pedals u want on it in the order you want to get an approximate size.....then decide if its gonna be flat or a wedge...

I peronally would build a wedge type one and make the lid lift so I could hide all the power crap in there.....

also check out DIY guitarist..on the Guitar FX page he show 3 diff ones he made

diy guitarist

the one labeled...DIY PEDALBOARD #2 is sick, adjustable built in powersupply and in and out jacks in the case 8)

but we are men and that is why god made sheds on the 8th day. there needs no practicle reason. that is why Hilary climbed Everest (and I don't mean Mrs Roe)

ha, 4 teh lulz. i actually don't hang out there, but i did a google image search for 'pedal board plan' and that was one of the links that came out. it made me chuckle.

people who don't understand the stigma against christian music/musicians are silly because it's quite obvious: they pigeon-hole and isolate themselves.
