Dannymec, I sent you a PM.
It would be good to get Robroe's opinion on it and whether it is what it was said to be.
After playing it a bit more last night I'm not liking the bridge pickup, it seems a little week and anemic so might look at swapping that out at some point as well. the neck pup seems to really make the amp growl though and like it a lot. The neck is great to play and feels effortless. It feels like the profile is a bit similar to the tele neck and different to the jag. I like's it a lot and very pleased with it

OK, the guitar needs a set up, some new strings (it has 9s on currently and they are rusty) and a bloody good clean which was kind of expected to be honest. The neck feels brilliant and while not as shallow as my CVC it is close. It seems narrow at the nut for me but soon gets wider lower down really means playing chords isn't an issue. Until I sort out the issues with the strings/set up/etc I won't comment on how it feels properly but I can sense I won't be disappointed.
My main gripe are the pots, the volume soon rolls off around a quarter of the way down and the tone control doesn't have much affect so these will need changing. There is also a rattle at the bridge when strumming chords but when I work through the strings it seems to be mainly the B string. Is this a set up issue or maybe something a little bit more serious?
I will have to say though it sounds great when tone and volume are on full. I really like it but would like to have a full range of sound on the pots.
Also no Trem arm, but at the moment that isn't an issue
So what pots should I add in? What else might I consider after a good clean and polish?
I have the same guitar but mine is a 03. Good guitar i really love the neck, never played a better neck matches my hand perfectly. The pickups sucked so i putted in some dimarzio, two single pups but its like two humbuckers. Could you post some better picturesP
cleaning, lubing, changing the strings and generally giving it a good seeing to seems to have sorted out all the issues. I will have to wait to the morning to see if the volume issue is sorted. I think the heavier strings and lubricating it has definitely sorted the rattle out.
If the weather is nice tomorrow I will take it out for some better pictures.

i'm touched it with my penis but not saying where just in case I sold it hereFran wrote:Rub some jizz on the bridge. Srsly.

In all seriousness, I jizzed on the neck as that is where the mojo happens. I used vaseline on the bridge. I'm going to give the jag and the tele a bit of the same treatment tomorrow as well
