Just got a shure SM57. Took the cap off. Green wire isnt connected. Dont have soldering. Bought from
ebay.
What does one do.

Though, it is an easy fix. You don't have a friend with an iron? You could get an iron and solder for under $20

The fact of the matter, is that if you paid for working gear and you received it not working; you should return it. Chances are if something breaks on it, something else is likely to break as well. No point in taking that risk if you don't have to.
