perhaps, but i've seen a jag for sale a few times that used similar language and it turned out to be of questionable originality... it's a lot harder/less financially rewarding to fake a coronado, admittedly. maybe i'm just paranoid with things that seem too good to be true.
the price will likely shoot up towards the end anyway, as everyone thinks they're going to nab a bargain, but in reality the entire internet is watching the auction because it's been discussed on 3756 guitar forums.
It could be fine of course, but the risk of that sort of thing certainly makes it worth less than it would be otherwise. My guess is it will go for $600-750.
Unless it's a buy it now listing that's why people complain about threads like 'Coronado for $265!'. And of course the only person with any chance at all of paying $265 (ignoring shipping) is the one who's already bid.
I played pretty much nothing but my Coronado for a few months and then played an Es-175 and it felt short, but it's the same feeling as being very familiar with a Telecaster and picking up a Les Paul. It doesn't feel at all out of place on either guitar but you can be aware of the difference.

that and the fact that you just blew anyone's chance of getting it for a deal by posting it on the forum and drawing a bunch of attention to it. I understand that people just want to share a killer deal that they found. but it's an auction. it benefits no one but the seller if you announce it on a public forum.

Here is a standard colour II (cherry red + black headstock, the other standard being sunburst + black headstock) in great condition that sold for £900 shipped on ebay. I'd say for a private deal £850 would be ok. The custom colours tend to go for around £1000.
