I get tired of this LOL I'M FROM THE INTERNET STUFF to be honest. If it's done amusingly and tastefully it's fine but just randomly sticking old 4chan memes on stuff is eh.

Someone sellotaped a poorly cut out troll face to one of the computers in college, I must find him and punch him.

10 years ago if you were on the internet to communicate with other people for any amount of time you were a social misfit destined to be shunned but now the internet is cool. Spend a whole weekend on Facebook? Awesome! You'll have friends in no time! The misfits are now the people that don't use the net for social ends. The memes seep out of 4chan and become an in-joke to these "internet savvy" people. To be honest, though, IRC isn't as cheerleader friendly as Facebook.

I felt betrayed when they started promoting this yoghurt in the UK recently. It turns out that Niederösterreichische Molkerei has been around for over 100 years in Austria, but the ads ("nom nom nom") cash in on the meme.
