NGD (soon): Rondo Music Tele!

Post by SKC Willie »

Well, I don't have it just yet but it is going to be a Christmas gift to me. I guess my parents thought I wasn't too old for a Christmas gift. I saw the box arrive at my house when I was home for the weekend and of course looked in when I wasn't supposed to.

I also dropped some hints at pickups that "I may need for a project in the future."

Also, a friend of mine bought a thinline tele from rondo music that has P90s in it and the tele style headstock. He told me that he was going to give it to me on indefinite loan because he only plays his acoustic.

So, my collection is going to go from one lonely Epiphone SG to a Thinline tele with P90s, a Tele Deluxe copy with rickenfaker pups, a 70s copy of and Epiphone ET 270 and the Mustang with Jazzmaster trem from Aeon. The best part is, all of this for under $500.

you need to add a bigsby to that to get something like this:

I will recreate that guitar again someday.

I probably would add a bigsby to it but it already has a trem system!

I had a Memphis Retrotron in my old benecolcaster, and it was amazing.

I've got the Thinline Tele copy of theirs and it's quickly became one of my favorites. I'll concede that the SX might need a bit of setup or fret work out of the box, but anything past that would just be modding for personal preference.

If I could justify it I would have already ordered one of their regular Teles.
