Graham Coxon's Music master

Post by Lucamo »

I just realised the guitar in the Beetlebum video is a Fender musicmaster with another pickup added closer to the middle position. Rad.

Wonder how it sounds.

Think it's in the Coffee and TV video too. Does look pretty cool, but I'm really not a Sunburst 'Stang fan.

love that guitar. I'm a horrible pagan, but for me those duo/musicmaster/bronco/mustangs with a scumburst are the sexiest.

You may also be interested in Damon Albarn's Mustang in their 'Crazy Beat' video. This was after Graham left, so it's good he kept the shortscale tradition going.

Nope, Damon [sorta] played guitar on the record and then they got Simon Tong from The Verve for live duties, which led to The Good, The Bad and The Queen (in which Tong plays the white Duo Damon was seen with earlier)

Graham's MM also had a 5-way strat switch

I've started to hate their Brit-pop trio of albums (Great escape and all that)
Now think 13, Think Tank and Blur are amazing.

13 and Blur are my two favourite albums of theirs, but Think Tank is appalling.
