I will have to check tomorrow if it does this with batteries as well. I may just hit the record but too.

For the record I don't even like EHX that much.

thanks.

Mine has this problem too but as I only use it in conjunction with a high gain distortion pedal it's not an issue.

I'm guessing that even this simple circuit needs some power filtering, so the supply is smooth and uninterrupted. Could be unrelated though. You might just have a dry solder joint!
Worth subbing out the 2n5088 for a 2n3904 aswell, I have had some bad batches of 2n5088s that sound great in fuzzes and Muffs but plain bad in a Saltbooster. I now use 2n3904s in the Saltbooster with some tweaks to the input and output caps to compensate for the more bassy 2n3904 sound,

sho, volume, ect [w/ my starve box], tuner, modded sd1, ce-3, mt2, regen, nova delay

usually stereo out to the bassman and pathfinder. the vox is running its speaker out to my 2x12, fender left/vox right. A 12" speaker and closed back cab really help the Vox along w/ the led mod.

got the MXR/CAE Boost today. brought it from a friend on the joe bonamassa forum. he was selling a fulltone fat boost for stupid cheap but i missed it. got this on a good deal instead. works really well with the DT, pushed the gain and volume for a great lead tone. no noise or hiss, simple and effective. excuse the carpet, i'm not using a board at the moment and the derby labour club is not the most decorative place.

Yeah... There's been this wave of cheap boutique pedal offerings up in there lately.
I missed out on a $79 Death By Audio Fuzz War, last week, wasn't gonna let this one slip me by.

Makes me wonder if a shop wasn't burglarized, or something...

I found and bought a small tube amp. Quite pleased so far. Spent a little more than I was intending to but you only live once, eh?

King Street Combo?

I was listening to some great Matamp clips on some french forum the other day... my desire for one is getting unbearable.

Aye. The controls aren't exactly the same but the guy sold it as a King Street Classic. The model number box on the back is blank.

It seems very versatile but I haven't had much chance for an extended go on it yet. It's certainly an Orange sort of sound from what I can tell, though. As for pedals I've only tried an OCD so far but I was pleased with how it sounded. More to come when I've had a better chance to give it a thorough run through.

Here is the only amp I have worth showing. Has a 15 and two 8's on one side I need to hook up. Original 8's are long gone, but I have some era correct ones to throw in there. Or I may just get an Eminence Big Ben.

And my humble board w/a Boss ME-20 I dig the wah and volume pedal on
