Pickup Wiring Chart (very helpful)

Post by Dingus »

Hey guys, forgive me and delete this if it's already been posted, but I just found this chart someone made for pickup wiring and find it extremely useful. Thought you guys might as well:

Very useful, thanks for posting. Should be in the Resources Forum, though. I'm sure a mod will take care of it.

We should have a thread with loads of pickup config diagrams, this image, and some general advice on how to prepare and set up the electronics in your guitar, what terms like hot/north/ground and such mean and how to ground, how to shield etc.

I say that we should have it, but I know dick all and am good for nothing other than saying what other people should do.

Considering there seems to be a standard for the colours used, it's a same there's not a standard for the use of the colours.

It actually was useful today to try to convert some Seymour duncan diagrams for fender humbuckers.
