Mackie Tracktion 3
Anyone use it? It's really cheap at MF (4.99) http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/pr ... sku=701816 and seems more powerful than garageband which is what I've been using.
Any input?

It's good, but dude just get fucking REAPER.

I used Tracktion 2 for live tracking bands on a Macking 16.4 firewire mixer. I didn't like it.

reaper starts as a totally unrestricted trial, you decide when/if you want to pay for a license. your license is good till the next major upgrade. it's awesome as hell.endsjustifymeans wrote:Reaper is not 4.99 though
if more people would try reaper there would be less discussion about these other shit programs.
$40 if you just use it personally / $150 if you use it commercially - fucking CHEAP
The trial NEVER EXPIRES so you can use it as long as you want.
Download the full, uncrippled, unexpiring evaluation version of REAPER, and give it a test drive. If it suits you, you'll need a license.
