616 vs DMB

Post by Jahsoul »

Anyone able to testify? Very comparable, in price, with some differences in features. I'm not a tap tempo dude, so I ignore that feature of the Deluxe Memory Boy.

effects loop, subdivision, programmable expression over several parameters, tap tempo - All great things going for the DMB but the sound wasn't there for the memory boy i had so it moved on.
The 616 has DMM style modulation and great repeats, is compact and has bypass buffer options [am i thinking the 616 or the malekko?] - All of the demos I've seen of the 616 have me convinced its one of the best small analog delays in the price range.

What do you mean by "wasn't there"?
