Somebody on the atlanta craigslist posted one of these today. He doesn't have any actual pictures of his, but his description sounds like it's really beat up. He says he doesn't know how much it's worth and is open to offers but the price he put up as his idea is $700! So I doubt he's open to actual reasonable offers.

aweeeeeesome. was that on the keep it hid tour? or was that for the keys?

can't tell who's on the kit, but when i saw him and pat as the black keys, they played the first half of the show as a duo, and then the second half with the rest of the folks ("Fast Fives"/Hacienda and the dude from my morning jacket).

he didn't come through here on the solo deal, so you're fuckin lucky if you sawr it!

EDIT: holy shit you saw him on his solo tour, you dirty bastard!

ha ha, all the live videos of his solo stuff just look like a bad ass vintage twangy guitar shop with all this dirty tweed and brown tolex, haggard hipster beards, and sweet vintage guitars.

It was really cool, a smallish club gig with a very chill (yet enthusiastic) audience. Dan kept bringing up how awesome it felt in there and it was the most "showmany" I've ever seen him too (have also seen the Keys 5 times). That auxillary percussion guy at the bongos with the maracas WAS called Pat, I remarked to my friend that he'd really let himself go. :o
Them Darlins and Hacienda each did an opening set.

bah, that's proper fookin' swell. would've given up quite a few things to be at that (or any) show of his solo gig.
