I actually dig the strat jack on the jazzmaster
I've always loved the sound/look of the jazzmasters but couldn't a long with the knob position, so by adding the strat input it will move the knobs back to a more Jaguar style placement which is much better for me. And a MAPLE NECK WITH A JAZZMASTER!
Maybe I'm missing it, but was there a price listed? They'll probably go for around $350 which at that point, you may as well buy the black-top.

on my laptop the jaguar looked as though it had single coils because the black part of the zebra pups seemed to merge in with the tort. I thought it'd be pretty cool to have as a back-up with some lipsticks. Do not want with humbuckers, pretty much just a hardtail jagmaster
EDIT: FUCK! am i losing it or are they single coils on hotrod's post? definitley zebra pups on the offset thread

Im curious to see the other finish options as well. I hope not all of the jag's have zebra humbuckers.D34dBaWx wrote:I have to say, the jack cups aren't to attractive. They are in no way a deal breaker though. I really like both. Will that really be the only finish options? If the jazzmaster came with a rosewood neck I would be all over it

I'm glad somebody else likes it, too.aen wrote:FUCKING FINALLY. I WILL HAVE THAT JAZZMASTER. I WILL.
Srsly, the more I look at that Jazzmaster the more I like it. It seems that while the lower end Jap and Mexico Fenders tend to reach the UK with some fairly silly prices when compared to their dollar price, Squiers don't suffer from that problem as much. Hopefully the Squier Jazzy will clock in at around £250, in which case it'll go straight onto my "do want" list, particularly in that snazzy yellow colour.

Good luck with that.SeismicProfile wrote:Im curious to see the other finish options as well. I hope not all of the jag's have zebra humbuckers.D34dBaWx wrote:Will that really be the only finish options? If the jazzmaster came with a rosewood neck I would be all over it
My money is on the only options being exactly what you see there. Maybe one of them will come in sunburst.
Shabba.
