Jagmaster body size

Post by kevlar »

Hey shortscale,

I'm watching a jagmaster on ebay and I'm thinking about bidding on it. I play a Jaguar at the moment and I sometimes find the body a little big and cumbersome. I've heard that the jagmaster has a smaller body, but I can't find any sites that confirm this, is this true?

Cheers!

It is currently going for £160, do you think this is a good deal?

Do it, that looks awesome! Jagmaster necks are great and if you don't like how it sounds there's a zillion different pickup options.

also, that one you posted a picture of looks amazing, and i hate jagmasters as a rule.

Thanks for the reply! I had searched for that thread on here Stewart but I couldn't find it!

I'm the current high bidder at the moment, 15 minutes to go. Fingers crossed.

if you find a jaguar too big and cumbersome, a jagmaster ain't your solution.

you need a mustang, son.

The body being too big is just a small complaint of mine tbh. I still love my jag to bits, so I won't mind the jagmaster being this big.

i dunno about you but while the body looks like a jagmaster the neck is 21 frets and the headstock says "fender jazzmaster"

just sayin-

I dont think that was worth £205. It's just a recent version jagmaster with a bad refinish.

I like that color. Hope Squier makes some new colors for the jagmasters.

I think it must have been a 25.5" scale Jagmaster, the bridge is further back than usual and is a two-point pivot bridge whereas the new Jagmasters use a Squier 6-screw bridge and it's butted right up to the pickguard.
