I think they stopped making them but they still seem to be around. Justin Hawkins of The Darkness endorsed this guitar btw

One went on UK ebay for about Â£400 not long ago.

Â£749 is a lot to pay for a chinese made guitar, or is it? The new Vox AC30 amps are Chinese made and retail at around Â£1,000 i believe. Too much? Of course it is, but when you consider the price of a new USA Gibson or Fender it is'nt.

I heard Justin Hawkins was cool again. I think he's cool. This guitar, less so. I posted about this a while back when I was considering a Nu-sonic, but the pricing makes no sense at all. The hardware is the same as the crap Â£200 strats they make, all Wilkinson stuff, and they're made in China, and the pickups (these guady humbuckers aside) are also the same... so why Â£800ish for this?

Er.. I presume you mean the Cobra? They are far from crap mate, certainly one of the best purchases i've made concerning value for money.

But even then, they always seem to botch the upper horn of all of their guitars. They would look so much nicer with some slight tweaking...

i.e. Burns Marquee.

I like the Burns stuff . Completely off the wall shit with a conservative fundamental . I love em . I consider a lot of their stuff the " Fuck You Purists " Guitars or the British Fender .
