My experience was just playing through HotRod's, but it had probably the best clean-up I've ever heard. You could do it with dynamics or the volume knob to get different results, but they both sounded fantastic.

i'm quite convinced that rolling off the tone or volume cleans it up quite a bit. i'll have to do a quick demo soon to highlight this facet.

This would be beyond AWESOME!......Would you compare its clean up abilities to anything else that's more common that we both may have experience with...OCD?

Will I know ur not a big pedal user..... so is this comparison a large pool or small pool of victims?

I used to use distortion and fuzz a lot more some years ago. It definitely cleans up more than you're standard distortion like a DS-1. It's in the fuzz camp for sure, but it didn't seem as extreme as a Fuzz Face, at least how I was using it. I think it actually sounds similar to a Harmonic Percolator, but a little more open.

It's always hard to describe tone. It's a very transistor-drive sound, but cleans up similarly to a Fuzz Face. It has that vaguely grainy, slightly treble-boosted quality I associate with a good FF. It just has a more natural bass response.

This explained it perfect bro..... and if it cleans up like a good fuzz face but with more bass that that sounds like a DAMN AWESOME pedal!!!

It does clean up well :) Can get it quite crunchy with the volume low put playing with quite hard attack. I seem to be rolling off the tone controls on my guitars a little when using it, as the Mustang and Jaguar are rather trebly, and the pedal seems to boost the treble more than the rest, maybe just me, but it does sound awesome :)

cleans up great... but why would you ever want it clean. ;)

Oh and similar experience rolling back on my tone with it, granted I mainly practice with the blackheart which is really bright and trebly to begin with.

Dwarfcraft Devices run on the INDUSTRY STANDARD 9.6V center negative “boss style power adaptor. A few devices allow you to make the WRONG CHOICE and use a 9 volt battery. Don’t. I promise you, it is NOT cheaper, and it is hell on the planet.

If you haven’t already, buy yourself a Onespot from your local shop, if possible. The cord is LONG so you might not even need an extension on stage. It’ll power a ton of pedals, of many different types. It’s small, it’s cheap, it works very well. It’s THE RIGHT CHOICE. You never have to worry about batteries again! You don’t have to throw toxic waste in the garbage! And, I’m not 100% sure, but I think if you put the little battery clip adapter on, you can lick it for that good old fashioned nine volt zing.
