Well, Dave Murray's sig guitar actually has a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge.

I've never owned SD's but they have good enough rep. What models did you go for?
well look at one of his never strats.

American special hhs strat.
If you have an HHS strat whay are you putting a Hot Rails in the bridge? It'll be too small. Surely a full sized humbucker would be a better idea.
well. thats my decide!

Of course it is, I just thought that it was an odd decision as your pickguard will obviously have a humbucker sized whole and, in my opinion, full sized humbuckers sound better than single coil sized ones. But go for it if that's what you want.

I have the SJAG - 1 in both neck and bridge of my Jaguar and I think they sound fantastic, I also played a James Trussart telecaster a couple of years ago with the Antiquitys in and it was immense, great pickups.

I swear by the Antiquity pickups. One of my Jazzmasters has Antiquity II's in it, the other has Antiquity humbuckers and my Strat has the Antiquity Surf pickups - I think they're all great. Lollar and Novak may make better pickups but there not as available in the UK, more expensive and you'd get nailed on customs charges if you brought them over.
