neck shape on 78 bronco??

what is the contour shape of the 70's bronco neck? im planning on building a guitar soon and want to get a neck with the shape as close as possible but dont have the money to buy a vintage neck right now.

i would say, big fat C. the neck on the brostang was fat as shit, and it was off of a '78.

Neck on my 78 Musicmaster is right between my CVC Tele and CIJ Jag hh [much thicker than MIJ jags mind you]
If you like a nice average neck size I'd say you're in the clear. Can't go wrong with many vintage shortscale necks, and if you do, let me know what you'll be doing with it :lol:

forgot to say i have a 78 bronco and its shape feels perfect. ill post the project when it happens, hopefully soon! 8)

I have a '78 mustang. again, neck is friggin 'uge.

I also, have a '77 musicmaster neck though and it's relatively thinish. love that neck.

I think sometime in '78 must have been when they started making them all with fat necks. some people really like them like that.

What hotrod, Pat and Mage said. Both of my 78 Bronco necks were really fat. I LOVE the 78 necks.

thanks everybuddy, i think im gunna get a warmoth fatback neck cause i couldnt find anywhere else with a fat shortscale neck. im building a jaguar in a few weeks and ill definitely post it in projects.
