It has a bucketload of negative connotations with Slavery, Nationalism, Facism etc.

It's been my experience that the vast majority of the people flying it are twats.

St Georges cross is going the same way to, not so sure why, surely it takes more than the EDL and England Football supporters misbehaving abroad to ruin the flag of out patron saint.

Anyway, we've ruined this thread. Lets get back to talking about Kramer, Strats and America..

Totally agree, on both points. PGS do demos as well as anyone. Bar ShortscaleDemos, of course.

I'd love this guitar without that flag finish. The specs is dope, but it's wayne kramer's guitar! it's so iconic, that for those who actually know...it'd be hard to separate the MC5 association from whoever might pick it up. To add insult to injury, I'd wage 90% of douche's who buy this solely for it's patriotic symbolism, probably won't know who the hell the MC5 or Wayne Kramer even is!
