I didn't know Warmoth offered the hockey stick necks. I guess I know where the neck for my other Maverick is probably going to come from.
That's awesome. Thanks.

Here is a link, but they are expensive. You would have to fill the holes unless Warmoth would just drill 6 holes.

Warmoth Hockey necks.
To be accurate the head would have to be shortened too.

The Maverick/XII neck heel is wider than standard, so a Warmoth neck wouldn't fit, unfortunately.

Yeah I knew the heels were different on the XIIs and JMs/Strats, but I thought the Warmoth necks were made for Electric XIIs. They're even called the " '65 Twelve String " neck.

Is a Maverick neck simply a Fender XII neck with only 6 tuners or is it different?

You might want to contact Warmoth and ask before buying. You might also see if they would just drill 6 holes instead of twelve.

Most Custom/Maverick necks were made out of leftover Electric XII necks. They filled the twelve tuner holes, cut and shortened the headstocks, veneered the fronts and backs so you couldn't see the joint and redrilled them for six tuners. After they ran out of Electric XII necks they made some purpose built necks for the Customs/Mavericks. My Maverick neck is one of the purpose built ones.
