True bypass pedals from Musikding...

Post by George »

Muskiding sell a kit to make a true bypass box but it's powered. I know it powers the light but apart from that, what are the resistors there for and are they powered?

One of them may be there to reduce the brightness of the LED. Don't know about the other though.

The other one is a pulldown resistor to stop the effect popping when clicked. This might not be needed, and if you can live without the LED, this design is entirely passive.
