Italia Guitars - Cool 12 string

Post by SKC Willie »

Has anyone played any of these? I had never seen them but was browsing the Musicians friend semi-hollow bodies and stumbled across these . . . went to their website and I really only like the Rimini series. I am seriously considering trying to find a 6 string version of the rimini. Anyways, any thoughts?

Sadly, they're OK but overpriced: a hair better than an Epiphone, but I'm no fan of Epiphones. If I was stateside, I'd rest assured that I could do far better with my dollar$.

Damn, that's too bad . . .

I'm a big fan of the looks. But I'm also a fan of Epiphone. I bet there's probably a reason that they're so hard to get a hold of here.

There was a dealer that was suppose to be starting to carry them here in STL.... I cannot remember the name for the life of me....anyway he was offering 20% off to anyone who pre-ordered one before he even got them in stock...this was probably last fall..... They are not my cup of tea so that is all the details I got

I remember Dev Hynes aka Lightspeed Champion used them quite a bit. When I saw him he used the hollowbody thing..sounds good to me.

Too plasticky (in a bad way) for my tastes. Just a tad too glossy.
