Jaguar Classic Player HH Modification

Post by jim93 »

Does anyone know anything about wiring. Ive been trying to figure out how I could modify this guitar
to add out of phase feature like my mustang but this guitar has humbuckers. Is it possible?
Heres details on the wiring

pickup info
Bridge Pickup: Fender Enforcerâ„¢ Humbucking Bridge Pickup
Neck Pickup: Fender Enforcerâ„¢ Humbucking Neck Pickup
Pickup Switching: Neck Pickup On/Off Slide Switch, Bridge Pickup On/Off Slide Switch, Normal/Low Cut Slide Switch

Fender Humbucker
my hope is to add the out of phase on the top 2 of the 3 switches or something similar.
and get rid of the kill switch, Best case scenario using the kill switch as an in phase out of
phase switch

I am not a wiring wizard, but maybe you could convert the Kill Switch on the upper bout to be a phase switch , that way you can keep the rolling coil taps and don't add an extra switches. The Jag-stang has a coil tap with a Humbucker so I don't see why it wouldn't. You could also do push-pull pot or an S-1 switch like my Baja Tele has. I love the out-of-phase sound on my Baja tele and on Mustangs. Do a demo when you get it done.

One day I want to take either the white CP Jag HH or the CIJ Black Jag HH and put WRHB in it. It would be cool to have the WRHB with 1M pots and the rhythm circuit.
