i own this thing for a few months now. it's ok, but the pickups are so-so. toronado gt hh sounds significantly better.

The output is kind of weak for the pickups and im usually fond of low output.

this is the common complaint on this guitar. I would love to replace the pups with either WRHB or AVRI Jag singles.

ok, so i got the cp jag hh. im so not happy with the pickups, it seems that the brightest sound i can get is quite muddy anyway. any suggestions? if i am going to put hotter pups in can i still keep the single/hb blend controls? which pups would work with it? do they have to be two single coils or can i still get the blend with a hb?
