based on the specs listed when compared to the jagmaster, it looks like the jaguar will be using a conversion neck

however this will not truly be known until we can pick one up and tear it apart..

so it goes

haha. I know, I've thought about it.

I do not need another guitar laying around though. I'm trying to get rid of guitars, not buy them!

The specs on the Jagmaster product page says 22 frets, but the product photo shows 21. I'm not sure what's happening there, but I'm willing to bet that "22 frets" is a typo.

I've always liked the look of these for cheapass Bigsby replacements:

They can be had for a decent price from GFS as well.

I had an old satellite 65-t which had one of them and it wouldn't stay in tune (the tuners were crap which didn't help)

This is my big mod plan. Fill and sticker the strat hole, add some chrome. I may swap the neck for another rosewood one I have, and then either a trapeze tailpiece or goofy trem (if I can afford it, a vibrola)

Not as much a fan of maple! I'll probably play with it for a bit though.

I'm going to go put a deposit on one in a couple of days.

A lot of things on it look goofy but I still like the Jazzmaster thing-a-ma-bob.

The dual bucker Jag thing has been done to death already.

+1. I agree with both points, but I love the Fiesta Red. I am just waiting to know if the neck is conversion or not. All the conversion necks from Squier have had 21 frets and this one has 22 frets.

How can you tell if a neck is conversion? Do you have to take the neck off to tell if it's a conversion neck?

The Blonde Jazzy looks great.

I tried and tested the blacktop JM today but I have a feeling I may enjoy this just as much !!!

Aye. I was pretty much sold until I spotted the strat jack plate. That's so fucking stupid.

I've pre-ordered the two tone jazzy from my local music shop. Hopefully I will have it for some torn down pics sooner rather than later.

I'm defo gonna buy one of these when they're released, I'm torn between the fiesta jag or the blonde jazzy.

Jag definitely looks like a conversion neck, the bridge is in the same place as on the Jazzmaster.
