This is one of my favorite guitars and it's on Guitar Centers Used Website for $2000. I love that headstock!

Not really my favorite style but the older Ibanez guitars had a headstock a lot like that.

I love Starcasters too, I have a real soft spot for semi acoustics!

They're like an offset 335 :)

one of my wild dreams is to have one of these remade in that tele deluxe green with a rosewood neck, and a jazzmaster tremolo. $2k is a decent price, as well.

mmmmmmm. starblaster.

CME wants 4500 beans for this '76 in au naturale.

I am working on some headstock designs and one of them is based on the Cock-stock.

You've just given me by fair the best idea I've had all day.

Any body know a decent bolt on neck semi acoustic guitar? I might make a mash up. Love that headstock and that neck. Shame about the pickups and floyd rose routed body on the one I have.

Do it. I played Sub's Starcaster at the recent ALBQ and the guitar was amazing. I have played quite a few vintage guitars and that was the one that more than any other I was immediately in love with. I would buy one right now if I had the cash. Plus, at that price, you could always get rid of it if the need arose. Bottom line, great guitar, great price. DO IT>>..

If you buy it , Haze, I am definitely making a roadtrip with my Musicmaster to come play it.

Even if the Walnut color isn't your favorite, you could always try to trade it for another one with a better color. The black and sunburst ones look really hot. I bet it looks much better in person.

Besides it already has the Bronco knobs so you wouldn't have to mod it :)
