Blues Jr....
Loud enough for gigging in London venues ?
I can't speak to London venues -- but when I don't feel like lugging the Vibrosonic around, I take my Blues Junior out for rehearsal. We're almost always in a small room with a super-loud drummer and I have no problem with volume. It's not clean loud of course, but that's not a problem for me.
If you have a speaker cab of some sort that can provide an 8-ohm load, you can unplug the BJ's speaker and plug in the cab. I've done it with a 2x12 and it gave a bit more clean headroom.

I can vouch for them. I played through mine when my old band played a gig down at the Hope & Anchor. They're more than loud enough, I don't think I ever got past half-way on the master volume.
I'm after selling mine but I don't know if you're after buying new or anything. If you think it's something you might be interested in then let me know.

Yes. All venues i've ever played in London mic amps, it'll be plenty loud enough.othomas2 wrote:Loud enough for gigging in London venues ?
