I was sort of lucky on the BF-2 as I got it for around the same price as the MIT version. Seems the MIJ Boss stuff is always more expensive. I don't use it an awful lot, but I like it.

I got the BT JM back around November (ordered it in September, but they didn't get it in until November) from Sweetwater. They had a great 12 months-no interest deal, I have a good sales rep there that I've done business with for a few years now, and none of the local stores had them (they still don't, oddly enough). My desire for a Jazzmaster came from playing the Mascis, but I went with the Blacktop as that was more in line with my budget. I like it a lot and plan to switch out the stock humbucker with a Gretsch Filtertron soon. I know you're in my neck of the woods, so you're welcome to come check it out sometime if you'd like.

Would you replace the JM or the Humbucker? Why would you want one since you put one in your Jag SP(Formerly SS (Formerly HH))

I would love to find a Black CP Jazzmaster and put the black pickup covers and mint guard to give it the blacktop look.

I went and played the Mascis and it was great. Even liked the Satin neck. But oddly enough, it didn't sound as magical to me as I was hoping. Probably built it up a little too much in my mind. Sounded a lot like the Jagmaster I just sold which I wasn't playing much. Of course the guy working in the Guitar area said I was playing too loud and he couldn't hear on his headset....I was annoyed and proud of myself at the same time.I would have totally bought it though. $784 for a brand new Jazzmaster is a pretty good deal. I will either save my money up for the Mascis or just build an Ash Jazzmaster from the remaining guitar stock I have. Maybe paint it LPB sparkle from Reranch with the gold pickguard.

Jazzmaster neck pickup, p-rail in the bridge. Id love a jazzmaster. I'm still building my silverburst and that one will be the tradtional jzzmaster but having one that will match my Jaguar would be pure icing on the cake.

A couple of recent purchases. Matamp and M13. Now I just need to buy a little scooter to ponce around on and a waxed jacket to wear while doing so.

It's a little embarrassing but I can't fully remember what pedals I have. Though soon I will have these and a WMD Geiger Counter up for sale.

SWEET. Can't get over how big the M13 looks after lovingly-gazing at the M9 for so long.

On a related thread: I shall be posting your Geiger Counter and Behringer Delay today to the postcode ending with 5BP. Well, I'll send it to the whole address to be on the safe side.

I haven't used it much but it seems ok. I have a Korg DT10 at the moment and I don't know if I'd say it was as accurate as that but it could well be. I have a guitar tuned to C (two steps down) and it has no problem picking up that note.

I definitely need to get an expression pedal soon and try out some of the things that are meant for one.

very fucking nice setup james. how well does the m13 work in front of the amp? would mind your thoughts on it's sound with the amp a little driven.

grand scope if things.

I'm still working on a drive pedal that works well with the guitars I'm using and the right EQ. The SD-1 is a great overdrive, but it shifts the EQ way too much for my liking. I want what I have, just overdriven and slightly louder. How hard can it be??? I have a BJF Honeybee OD in the works. Its basically a $400 Rat but BJF did a very clever thing using a slew-rate-limited op amp with clipping diodes in the feedback loop as well as to ground. No one had even suggested it was a RAT before it was reverse engineered/degooped.

Its basically going to be this once I finish that pedal.

VPJR
ECT
Honeybee OD
possibly a marshally or boost
CE-3
Nova Delay
FUCK I NEED A REVERB

so tempted to take my tax return and do an m13
tuner, ect, honeybee, m13 w/ nova in loop
