if pedal demos were post 1983 style?

seriously though, most pedal demos (other than shortscale) don't even make sense for the effect they're meant to make. and they're done by people who couldn't even be in my high school band.

I also DJ and I see the same level of imposing gear, toys, and tricks at the expense of just playing some well chosen tracks out.

However I'm totally salivating over $500 delay and reverb pedals.
