after 1 more day with the 11's on it i tore them off.
then i tore off the neck, then the pickguard, then the trem unit.
its in pieces all over. took lots of photos.
hilary is making me go to some bullshit family bullshit right now though. gtg

wire from pickups is cloth wire.
all other wires are plastic coated. the ground wire goes thu the body to the belly of the trem unit but wasn't ever soldered to anything. funny because the thing never buzzed

while i got it all torn apart i think im going to rip out the stupid fucking tone knob and put in Vol#2. there is lots of room before the jack for a mini kill switch too.

you can also tell that after they painted the body, someone at the factory figured out that the pickups wouldn't fit in the rout. there is bare wood in there in 3 random places where they had to go back in with a dremul and carve it out by hand

I fuckin' hate maple necks but that does look good with that green....... I have never seen those pot stamps before...are they 1meg pots or 500k?
also, have u had problems with hitting ur hand on the vol knob while spanking on it?

I really like the look of these, but would a "proper" JM pickguard fit these? It seems that only the P90 version has the bit that extends underneath the bridge. I like the look of the white one, but I'd have to change the pockguard from tortoiseshell.
