They sell for alot less on Ebay around $200-$300 I got one for about $350 with the amp in case.

I have not seen one list for what westtexasred quoted for a while. My guess would be anything around 450-500 for the combo is a good deal and in the $600's is about what you would expect. I might be off but that is what my impression is.

Ok I looked at what you linked and then went to ebay and looked at 1448 amp in case completed auctions/ sold. The range was from around $600 - 400 for nice examples. Then to $250 for stuff with some issues. So it looks like a deal can be had if one is patient. Looking at the regular listings has a lot of inflated BIN auctions.

Mine was $325 complete.

Sometimes people say the Danelectro/Silvertone they're selling doesn't have issues. They're either wrong or lying. EVERY old Dano has at least a few issues to sort.

There is one of these, or something very similar at Sam Ash here in Columbus. I think it's around $300, but I forget the exact price.

if the guy thinks they're worth $1000 he's tripping giant hot balls.

mine was the equivalent of about $300. and to be honest, it really didn't have any issues (as long as one was fairly gentle with it).
