You definitely cleared the board. I felt the same way when I got rid of the Polychorus that was not seeing any use. Now you have room for more stuffHaze wrote:so much better

i've taken my pedal board apart in an attempt to simplify my sound and really dial in the settings. it's a work in progress, as i want pedals on the board that will work with my single coils (jaguar) as well as my humbuckzorz (jagmaster, dot). each guitar reacts differently to the pedals, sometimes in a negative way.
all sound good through the HazeFX fuzz face, and TEH INTERNET (not pictured), but i have mixed emotions about the sound of humbuckers through my ts7, or the ds-1.
amp < rc20xl < dd-6 < hazeface < fish'n'chips < vol pedal < guitar
i still need to find a place for dd100, ts7, and ds1/ds2(?).
haze is to be making me an a/b/y box for DUAL AMPS/DUAL PEDZ setup, and i may just run two different setups on the same two amps so i can really find out what sounds best through which pedal configuration.

Signal chains can be tough to work through. I have my MBM Fuzzface 3rd after my TU-2 Tuner and Boss PW-10 wah because the don't messup the signal. I put dirt/fuzz first followed by modulation then delay and vibrato/tremolo. Extremely quiet. Remember that daisy chaining certain pedals can cause issues too. What pedalboard you use?hotrodperlmutter wrote:i've taken my pedal board apart in an attempt to simplify my sound and really dial in the settings. it's a work in progress, as i want pedals on the board that will work with my single coils (jaguar) as well as my humbuckzorz (jagmaster, dot). each guitar reacts differently to the pedals, sometimes in a negative way.

Nice price on that pedalboard. I had my own custom built board for a while but switched to the Pedaltrain pro and haven't looked back since. I know some people are too high on them, but I love the simplicity and the mounting power supply options.

Not sure if they have improved, but I had one of the $50 rondo boards. If you are going to travel and gig much I would pass. It is probably fine if you just want something for around the home or occasionally heading to a jam or something, but the latches and hinges were bent by the 3rd or 4th gig I played with it. It lasted maybe 6 months at best before it was falling aparat completely (of course it was getting gigged about 4x per week.)hotrodperlmutter wrote:i'm not sure, exactly. it comes in a bag, and has it's own power supply:
buying this one soon:
$50 from rondo.

Main noise makers.. (not the Smokey amp, just found that under the bed. Early type, no protective casing.)
The MZ-2 is "new" to me, so just starting to experiment with that one.
Other stuff that's about but not really in use any more.
