Nice 1 cur glad you like em...thanks for the welcome too!cur wrote:Your sk8 shots are wonderful. Welcome.
you reminded me of some of my old pics.
That's a friend of mine skating an oldskool 70's bowl during the early 90's..
We were suprised that it still existed..."Dont Fall..Hot Dick on Ice" ...
I remember we had to bale it out then skate round the edge...
Shot using a 70's 35mm Nikon FM..unbreakable!
Diggin your pics too! That first pic could be an advert for Bueno boards

the brick, roof, street and windows are part of a reflection of what was behind me, and the foreground (chairs, curtains, table) were inside the window i was looking into.cur wrote:What's with this one. It's fucking my shit up. What did you all do to it.hotrodperlmutter wrote:► Show Spoiler
it's one fluid shot, and weird for sure. it's in a little shopping plaza down the street from where i grew up.

I don't tend to alter my photos, but this one is a pretty tight crop.
D50 is pretty old, but still a nice camera. Honestly, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to take just as nice a shot with the D50 as you could with a D7000; even old cameras are generally more capable of a solid photo than the photographer iscobascis wrote:I got it for 180$ plus a trem pedal, so I'm pumped.serfx wrote:that's pretty much my stock dslr setup for pictures at gigs and skate shots, unless i get adventurous and use my fisheye lenscobascis wrote:I have a Nikon D50 with an 18-55 kit lense in the mail and I'm effin' EXCITED.
Here's a shot I took with a borrowed D50 (or was it a D70? I can't remember) a couple years back:
