Of course I'll never be able to afford any of these but we can all dream right?
This is pretty much my list, except for the bronze, which I couldn't really turn my nose up at. Dunno what I'd have instead, though.
Is it the early 60's 335's that had a slightly skinnier neck and lighter sound from them?

They varied alot but I think they were slightly skinnier. I found
this chart though.
I'm not really sure to be honest. I just know I'd love one.

I wouldn't mind having a few Fender Flames or Fender Esprites in different finishes and tremolo/tail options.
Fender Flame Ultra - Autumn Burst
Fender Flame Ultra - with tremolo..... rather have it in autumn burst or black
Fender Flame Ultra
Fender Esprite Elite
Fender Esprite Ultra
My Fender Flame

I don't know why I said "sometimes of this parish." maybe because I forgot about his mustang VI project. that thing is cool tho.

What's wrong with not giving a fuck about the it looking a bit rough round the edges but giving a fuck about having good parts on the guitar? You may as well have put the last line as...
...and then you see the Bare Knuckle humbucker. *facepalm*
Shabba.

i don't see any reason whatsoever for putting a mastery bridge on a mustang.

Maybe because those clever chaps at Mastery gave Sonic Youth a load of prototype bridges to test on their kit? (This is what they did, by the way, rather than supposition on my part) I'm guessing they asked them to test them on all flavours of guitar, hence the Mustang.
(I secretly quite like the design, idea and engineering of the Mastery bridge, and would buy one, except the tuning on my Jazzmaster is rock solid...).

yeah, the humbucker that's been crudely installed slap in the middle of the guitar, somehow that doesn't strike me with the same whiff of pointless extravagance as the mastery bridge. the man can do whatever he likes with his guitar. I just think it's daft that's all.
