72 jaguar, local CL 1K

I am going to email the guy and see if he still has it. The ad came out Sat. If it is still in town, and the guy seems legit, I would be willing to help out anyone looking for it. If it is legit, 1K is a killer deal obviously. Of course it may already be gone.

I know. Hell, I would love to just buy it and flip it on ebay for a quick extra grand. If I come up with the money that is what I will do unless someone here wants to send money upfront (which is always a bit weird to ask)...My only way to buy it right now would be a CC cash advance and the cost and hassle of that would make me want to make some money back on it.

Waaah.

Oh well, I hate sunburst anyway. But still, I would have loved this.

I saw that when I was searching through pages of craigslist ads for Jags and Mustangs. There were better deals (though not in that area).

Shoot, I would've had you buy it and sold both my guitars based on that pixelated image alone.

I should never have opened this thread. Such a beautiful guitar.

Does anyone on the form have one of these 70s Jags? How do they play. IMHO they are the best looking guitars ever created, but I heard some quality was hit or miss in the 70s?

Yes, but hardly a better deal.

A: That guitar is fugly.
B: It is $800 more.

I agree, but outside of the other deal it's still cheaper than what I usually see them go for.

Not really a deal. It was on ebay at 1799 starting bid and didnt sell that usually means its not a deal.

The OP was a pretty good deal, although it would be better if it wasnt a 70's jag.
