When you put you Bronco in its case,do you leave the trem bar in or do you take it out?

90% of the Broncos I've seen have not had the trem bars anymore. You're one of the lucky few who still have it! I wish I had the trem bar for my bronco!

Another question about the Bronco tremolo: are there any videos of assembly or tear downs of the tremolo? How many pieces is it? I just bought a bronco tremolo base plate and wondered what other pieces I still need to get.

Thanks that will be cool. I hope if I can keep my eyes open I will get all the parts to assemble a complete tremolo.

I know what you mean about the flat wounds. They came on my AVRI jaguar like almost 2 years ago and they are still fine.

Mine has the bar, but no case. Maybe there's a link? Maybe you need to take the bar off to fit it in? And that's why they've all got lost and mine hasn't.

Good luck, I have 3 incomplete Bronco trems in the parts box. The trem posts and trem arm grommet/nipple/dohickey are what I've been looking for. You see the trem plates without saddles every now and then.

I picked up the base plate and I saw a spring online as well.

Oh wow, I've always wanted to see all the parts of a Bronco trem, but didn't want to pull any of mine apart, they've all been setup nicely.

I don't close my case with the bar in. I always take it off first and wrap it up in cloth and leave it in the case, don't want to ever misplace it. I would like to one day make a little velcro bar holder so it doesn't rattle loose in the case.

Tell me about the trem bar. Does it screw in? Do they make replacements? Could you use a Mustang trem arm in it?

Taylornutt, i'm after a trem for my bronco - looks like it's help in place by a tiny grubscrew and from what i've been told USA mustang trems will fit however Japanese mustang trems wont because they're a different size (slightly larger).
My jagstang trem certainly wont fit.

No, it doesn't screw in, it just sits snuggly in the hole. I have to wiggle mine pretty hard to get it in and out.

I've not heard of any replacements, one guy in a parts shop said I probably will never find a replacement, unless it's made specially.

I'm not sure what Mustang bars are like??? I've only got Broncos.

I can take photos later if you'd like?
