Here's my Jaguar, proving that black bursts are obviously the classiest thing around, ever.

I used to hate sunburst before I stuck this pickguard on. Now I know they can be saved.

The neck one is, the bridge has a Quarter Pounder. I'm waiting for the cash to be able to replace the neck pickup with the matching SJAG3N as well. The stock pickups are fucking garbage.

Needless to say, the pickup covers aren't going back on. It looks great without them in blackguard configuration. I think it makes it look a little more "dangerous" than it would otherwise.

you could always ebay some black covers..
i mean its kind of pointless, but its a thought.. and then you could reinstall the claws.

jags without claws look strange to me.

Nah, I like the exposed look they have without covers, and it shows off the biiiig polepieces.

Arf. I was quite chuffed I didn't have to pay any comedy taxes when that scratchplate arrived too.

You should do it. I am now of the firm opinion that sunburst requires black plastic to complement it under all circumstances. It just looks right.

The neck pup looks strange in the second pic because you can see the copper wire, but other than that I think they look really good uncovered. The whole guitar has that late 70's Fender vibe.
