Progress: velcro loop carpet and can't-chip-this angle iron trim.

Needs amp-style corner protectors.

The only problem is now I've got more pedals than I've got power for. Two OneSpots with the 5 plug daisychains, and 12 pedals. And at least one more pedal that I'm working on that will go on the board.

Time to cull the herd? Nope. Time to look at bigger power supplies.

As of today, when I got tired of it being a mess and velcroed stuff down:

The volume pedal after the dirt is an attempt to be able to dial back for the modulation. The Dano Vibe in particular doesn't have much headroom -- this will get replaced eventually, as I don't like Danelectro all that much, but I still have this pedal. I don't really play the vibe that often, so maybe it'll get bumped off the board.

I left room for more fuzz. I don't play the TP nearly as much as the VFM, so that'll be bumped for a Fulltone OCD eventually.

The upper left is a spot for a Hammond 1590A-sized patch panel with a Klon buffer in it that will be always on. I'll build a similar patch box (no buffer) for the spot above the tuner for the signal coming in from guitar. I need to get a Voodoo Labs pedal power 2, too, as the OneSpots are pretty much maxed out and they're not driving the wah or tuner.

Oh, and cable management is being done by those little grey clips -- they're cable organizers for the back of your desk that I stuck velcro on so that I could rearrange them.

Basically, nothing is safe on this board right now, because I go through phases of disliking all the tones and am trying to find new ones. Lots of room to grow, though!

Just been looking into Onespots as I'm thinking of getting one to replace my 5 lead power block thing, pedal numbers are increasing! One of the online vendors stated that the One Spot can power up to 20 pedals, you just daisey chain the daisey chains.. :?:

rps, check out www.johnnyshredfreak.com

You just need one of these

And a couple of the matching daisy chains and a mains lead. Works out about £30. Loads of people on this forum swear by them (they're actually the same as the Diago one that's sold at a hideously inflated price)

You can daisy chain like crazy, but the most important thing is the amount of current you're drawing with the pedals. Most pedals will have their current draw listed in the manual, but there's a really comprehensive list here:

The Power List -- stinkfoot.se

Instructions on how to do it yourself:

Measure your pedals’ current draw -- stinkfoot.se

As long as you're not drawing more than your power supplies are capable of giving, you'll be fine and can daisy chain away. I'd also leave about 20% headroom in there just for the hell of it.
