Get the vintage one. Tonally and ethically it's the right choice.

That was from the original '63 advert. I don't know what that is in 2011 money, as 1963 was at least a hundred years before I was born.

I agree with Tim. I have two Dano reissues ('90s DC 59 and a 63), both acquired secondhand. Even placing moral implications aside, the vintage Danos and Silvertones are far better instruments in my experience.

Aye, that. New Danos are made from the bones of bludgeoned gay baby whales.

amp in case will retain it's value.

current danos are over-priced anyway.

http://danelectro.com/gtr_56_red.html

stoped by the local guitar center today and checked out the newer danelectro 2010 56 single cutaways

but the ones they had there must have been guitar center exclusives? because they had a dark red and a black models with bottle shaped head stocks
and both had humbuckers at the bridge

and online on danos site and any where else i have searched the humbucking versions come only with the dolphin head stock and come only in red and aqua

can anyone fill me in on this?

i remember guitar center had an guitar center exclusive sunburst finish for the dead on 67 hornet reissues

is this something like that maybe?

any help would be appreciated.

the black on was bitching best dano ive played yet
