--o---o-- >magic to tone?

so i got it unpacked. the first thing i .had to do was see where the pup wires run.. the neck wires run through the bridge hole and then to the cavity.. so i may not be able to do what i had orig planned.

but i placed the pickups in to see how it looks, and it appears i may just be able to fake it by routing out the area i need for the jazzmaster pup while still having enough space to keep it in place..

though it is going to be tight..

*note i will not be using the jazzmaster/jaguar bridge i just wanted to see how it looked with one.

it is the neck pickup from my CP Jaguar HH, since i'm putting a CP single coil in it.
i'll need to get a cream ring to mount it.

i like the idea of that tailpiece.. i was thinking the gfs surface mount trem as well though..

and i may have to find another jag bridge to use with it, as i'm not very fond of Toms...

I really like how this is turning out. I was thinking of getting this and putting a tele custom or deluxe type pickguard on it, but I've got enough projects to worry about right now.

GFS stuff showed up..
apparently the output jack plate that came with the mono jack, did not include the mounting screws..
so, that was a nice surprise..

not that big of a deal, and it never said anywhere that it did, i just assumed so that was silly of me.
either way i can do a quick wire up and test it before i route the body.

as i'm still waiting for the jag/jazzz trem from all parts.
