I thought it looked like James on a Noho.

I always liked the Noho Mercury. Kudos for coming-up with an original design, and it was quite cool and 50s-inspired.

While wonkily larger and slanty, the headstock reminded me of the prototype snakehead lapsteelish tele, which is a headstock i'd still love to have on a Fender.

But yes the largeness of it brings the Mercury more to mind.

i am the threadsurrection and i am a lie...

meant to say, i asked that chap about his guitar and he said his dad's mate built it for him using a "jag body and a futurama neck". so there you go.

(i assume it's a jagmaster body. it sounded nice, anyway)

A-ha! I wouldn't have thought the 3-a-side headstock would look good on a Jagmaster body, but it does look jolly nice.

it's not a fucking jagmaster body. it's one of those ugly ass knock offs, unless the guy also drilled for a tele style lower-rear-bout output jack bucket cup.
