It looks absolutely mint and the color looks good. I contacted the seller but he wants
$4500 . Not sure it's worth it but I thought I would let you all know about it.

No way it's a '68 with a D&B neck. Also- ebay prices.

What about this one?
It's a Fender Coronado for $450. I have contacted the seller several times but with no response. He mentions the local guitar shop so I think it's legit, but it may be gone since the seller won't respond back or leave a phone number. I would totally get this if it's not a scam.

Also, I noticed that lots of guys are saying they won't respond to emails without phone numbers. Is that a scam?

As discussed at some length before, these sort of random sightings aren't what the Classifieds are for.

I only brought it up because I would have been willing to broker a deal for another shortscaler. The fact that it now appears to be a scam, that won't be an issue. Based on the earlier discussions, I understood it was okay to post CL listiings if you intended to be a go between for another shortscaler. Ebay auctions should be avoided since people can search for those on ebay. Since it involved a possible sale, I posted it in Classifieds. I saw a similiar post in the Short Scale Forum a couple of days ago.
Would you prefer it in Classifieds or Short Scale Forum?

not responding without a phone number shouldn't be a scam.

we're racist toward Texas......
I do think we should have some kinda CL thread, cuz like in this instance Taylor would have never known this was a SCAM if he did not post it.....
but that is just my opinion...and opinions are like assholes....

If the only issue people have with this thread is that it's in Classifieds instead of Short Scales, could an admin please move the thread.

Subforum would be good for organizational purposes.
