yeah, also jaguars and teles are really cool when they've been all modded to hell. I think it's the busyness of their design, they already look like a jumble of chromed machinery, adding to it only makes it better. jazzmasters and strats are more simple looking, the white guard + custom color looks like a pretty piece of candy. if you crudely mod them it's a bit more out of character.

nah, mage is right. vintage white with bright white scratchplate can only score a minimal change of -10 to -20%. i would say black or pearl would be the only thing that can provide an ALIBI for that piss yellow.
+40% could not occur on that finish in it's natural environment.
