the Alpine white was $299. I love the looks of these guitars, but the one I actually played was awfull so it's hard to get excited about them. Nice prices

I don't know where they get off calling that aged pelham. Every one of the legit 60's Pelham blue gibsons I've seen, has still been pelham blue. They didn't age into this disgusting pea-soup green color.

+1

They did get a bit turquoise on occasion, but calling that green "aged Pelham" is like calling grafitti yellow "aged white".

I do like that green though. Sleazy.

yeah, it's like fender's OCR (Old Candy Apple Red). real aged CAR is a really nice color, much nicer than the CAR you get on new fender guitars. here for example:

this fact just that makes OCR even worse....

D: not only have they completely missed the mark on aged CAR but they have actually made a fairly ugly color.

The one I played was very nice, actually. It's the one Epiphone I truly long for. I like everything about the guitar. It sounds pretty good stock yet offers very good future upgrade options. The guitar is perfectly light and has a fast, thin neck, with amazing access to higher frets. And unlike the SG which you could say all those things about, the Wilshire actually balances well, with no neck dive. The coil split is a nice touch as well.

I'll probably buy one some day, when I can justify having an eighth axe.
