Whatever, picky picky
neither body type would seem thick enough to have a recessed floyd. But I guess thats an illusiion of a shortscale

Truthfully, I don't play the Jaguar too often (plus it's pretty new). I'm the third owner of the Cyclone (Low Milage). I have about 14 guitars, clean them almost after every use and they are in high rotation. That might explain the "mint" looks. But also the camera quality is shitty... they don't look THAT good in person.

Thanks!

Check out the new pickguard and Bronco neck on my Musicmaster Bass (Telebromaster Bass?):

That maple neck plays like butter. And while I was at it, I took pictures of my other basses:

I'm due to receive an Aero Mustang Bass pickup this week. Maybe after changing the pickups, it'll be a bass I enjoy playing and listening to rather than just looking at. If not, it's OK, I'll always enjoy looking at it.

desertan wrote:The guitar was built on a dare...it's got a really cheap licensed Strat neck with terrible grain so the whole darned neck was treated to a color job, once the abalone markers were put in. I play lots of Ricks so the slick neck feels all right to me.

The guard is second-surface, made from .125" cast acrylic and edges were routed and polished with a nice clean bevel.

Thanks a lot, Milwaukee.

Ironically, it's a short scale body with a 25.5" neck. But nothing to keep you from doing it to a shorty, too.

I've got a Jag in the works with a similar treatment; different color, though.
