They did get a bit turquoise on occasion, but calling that green "aged Pelham" is like calling grafitti yellow "aged white".
I do like that green though. Sleazy.
The one I played was very nice, actually. It's the one Epiphone I truly long for. I like everything about the guitar. It sounds pretty good stock yet offers very good future upgrade options. The guitar is perfectly light and has a fast, thin neck, with amazing access to higher frets. And unlike the SG which you could say all those things about, the Wilshire actually balances well, with no neck dive.
