the original factory in buffalo is now a giant flea market. it's funny because in some places you can still see the original moog murals painted on parts of the wall. the rouge is a gnarly little synth. i used to have the radio shack version the mg1

PS, Sunn 0))) uses those.
I'm pretty sure Sunn O))) use a Taurus II. But those have the exact same insides and interface as a Rogue. I think they use a Micromoog too.

But I could be completely wrong. I just haven't seen any pictures of them using a Rogue.
IIRC you can see one on the inside photos on DomKirke, a live album, and i thought i saw one here but Im supposed ot be working so I cant check

Ah, you're right. That's definitely a Rogue there with the Micromoog and the Taurus II. Please excuse my ignorance. I've been meaning to listen to more of their stuff but all I've got is Black One. I really like the artwork for DomKirke.

That's cool. One more reason to be proud to own a Rogue.

Here's another

That's cool, I kind of wanted that but it only has RCA jacks and I didn't want to pay to mod it to have quarter inch jacks. I also would've lost the bragging rights I get from owning an actual Moog.

I totally feel you on the bragging right's. But at the time i found it at a garage sale for $20 and figured I could deal with it saying radioshack. It was the only moog based synth i ever had and I still regret selling it. One day i'll get another.
guitars: mustang 65ri, cp jaguar, cp based jazzblaster, cp based jazzmaster, harm vi, gibson lp jr, seagull 66 string, seagull s12+, dobro, jazz bass
effects: way too many
amps: mesa boogie roadster, mesa boogie stiletto trident

As far as Sunn 0))) goes, I think Black One is pretty weak sauce, if only because it's littered with "Evil" vocals. I would totally recommend domkirke, if you can find it. (Been meaning to transfer that from vinyl to hard drive...) Also, "Altar" by Boris and Sunn 0))) is pretty much eargasm, if you like those bands.

That's a pretty insane deal. I kind of want one for the polyphonic section but I'm thinking about paying a bit more for a Moog Opus 3.

The only song that I really like from Black One is Orthodox Caveman. I don't really like "Evil" vocals. And I love Boris to death but I've yet to listen to Altar, I seen them live this summer. One of the best shows I've been too. I dig Earth too.

This is pretty cool

Nice. Have a demo? I don't think I'd be able to clean mine out on my own so I'm going to take it in.

I mean this is basically what I'm doing

Gonna hit it with some simple green too.

I did my best not to get the gunk in the sliders, but it's kind of unavoidable.

Pretty foul.

Yikes, I don't think I'd be able to do that. But do you have a demo of you playing your MG-1? Have you done any recordings with it? I'm interested.

Ah. No I haven't done a demo. This dude did an incredibly comprehensive 6 part demo.

Pretty amazing. He gets a pretty cool patch goin' 6 minutes into part 5.
